See if your iPhone, iPad, or iPod can use iOS 15

Apple released iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 in the fall of 2021, so you may be curious if your iPhone, iPad, or iPod is compatible if you haven't already upgraded. Review the lists below to see if your device will support Apple's upgrade.

iOS 15 Compatible Devices

If you own an iPhone or iPod touch that supports iOS 14, then you can upgrade to iOS 15. Apple’s list of iOS 14 compatible devices exactly matches that for iOS 15.

iPadOS 15 Compatible Devices

Like with iPhone, if your iPad supports iPadOS 14, then it’s compatible with iPadOS 15.
