Vizio has announced its audio line for 2015 and there is a lot choose from. If you want just a basic sound bar, sound stand, or a full 5.1 channel audio system built-in around a sound bar, Vizio has it...

According to Vizio, their entire audio line has the following connections: Analog audio inputs (RCA and 3.5mm), as well as both Digital Coaxial and Digital Optical audio inputs, as well as a USB input for accessing music store on flash drives.

In addition to plug-in connections, all the sound bars, systems, and sound stands in Vizio's 2015 line also incorporate Bluetooth that allows direct wireless audio streaming from compatible portable devices, such as smartphone or tablet.

Accessories provided with all units include: wireless remote control, and all needed audio connections and speaker wired as required. The only reason you might need to purchase an additional cable is if the ones included are not long enough for your needs.

All of the sound bars can be shelf or wall mounted - The sound stands can be placed directly under a TV or on a shelf.

Sound Bars

First up are two basic sound bars, the 29-inch wide SB2920 ($79.99) and 38-inch wide SB3820 ($99.99). Other than their size difference (the 3820 is a great match for TVs ranging in screen size from 37 to 50-inches). Both provide an integrated a two-channel speaker system, but also include an audio output for connection of a optional subwoofer.

Next is the 38-inch wide SB3821 ($179.99) which incorporates the same two-channel speaker system as the SB3820, but, in this case, a wireless compact subwoofer is included.

For a more flexible listening experience, you might want to opt for the next step in the Vizio's audio product line, the SB3851 ($249.99).

This system combines a 38-inch wide three channel sound bar and wireless subwoofer, with two wireless surround speakers, for a full 5.1 channel surround sound setup that is easy to install and use. Built-in Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround decoding, as well as DTS audio post-processing is included.

Finally, at the top-of-sound-bar line is the 40-inch SB4051 ($349.99) which can be used to complement TVs that 47-inches or larger. In addition to a three channel sound bar, surround sound speaker, wireless subwoofer configuration, and surround sound decoding/processing, the SB 4051 also takes things up a notch with the inclusion of HDMI connectivity (One HDMI cable provided) with Audio Return Channel and video pass-through capability. The SB4051 also provides enhanced Bluetooth performance with the incorporation of AptX compatibility

Sound Stands

In addition to Vizio's Sound Bar product line, they are also offering two new "Under-TV" audio systems, the SS2520 an SS2521 Sound Stands.

Both units are the same physical size, which can accommodate TVs as large as 55-inches provided the TV's own stand can fit within the top surface dimensions of the SB2520 and SB2521 (25x21 inches) and weigh less than 60 pounds.

However, the difference between the two is that the SS2521 also includes a built-in subwoofer in addition to its two channel speaker system (the SB2520 does have a subwoofer output for connection of an optional subwoofer, if desired).

The SS2520 is priced at $149.99, while the SS2521 is priced at $249.99.

All of the sound bars and sound stands listed are, or will be, available during the Spring of 2015 directly through the Vizio website, or its retail and online partners including Amazon, Best Buy, BJ's Wholesale, Costco Wholesale, Sam's Club, Target, and Walmart.
