What Can't I Do With the Playstation 5 Camera?

The PlayStation 5 camera is a useful tool for streamers but it does have some limitations. Here's a quick look at what it can't do.

  • You can't use it for VR games. If you want to play PS4 VR games, you'll still need to use a PlayStation 4 camera to do so. The PS5 camera doesn't work with VR games in any way, so you may need to own two different cameras.
  • You can't record yourself while recording gameplay. You can use the PS5 camera when streaming gameplay live but if you want to record gameplay, you can't record your visual reaction to it just yet.
