Most videos on Amazon Prime Video have subtitles available, and many even offer subtitles in multiple languages. The subtitles feature is connected to the closed captioning feature, and they’re accessed in the same place. If both subtitles and closed captions are available, you can choose which one you want when you turn subtitles on.

Here’s how to get subtitles on Amazon Prime Video on the web player:

  1. Play a video with subtitles available.

  2. Click the Closed Caption or Subtitles (speech bubble) icon.

You can also enable subtitles in the Prime Video app on your streaming device, like a Fire Stick, game console, or smart TV.
