Super Mario 3: Mario Forever

Super Mario 3 Mario Forever is a remake of the original Nintendo classic. There are literally dozens of Super Mario remakes out there but this one is easily one of the best that we've seen. Acid-Play also rates this as one of the best Super Mario clones available for the PC.

Super Mario 3: Mario Forever for the PC also received a completely new update in 2015 that includes updated levels and gameplay.

Mario Forever Galaxy

Mario Forever Galaxy is a continuation of Buziol Games' immensely popular platformer remake of Super Mario 3: Mario Forever. In Mario Forever Galaxy Evil Bowser has kidnapped the Princess Peach and taken her to a far-off planet. It's up to Mario and his friends to travel through the galaxies battling Bowser's minions in order to rescue her. The gameplay resembles a shoot-em-up game moreso than a Mario game.

Mario Worlds

Mario Worlds has a Super Mario World aesthetic and Super Mario Bros-style gameplay, and includes everything you would expect from a Mario game; Coin collecting, powerups, enemies and of course Princess Peach. There are, however, some drawbacks such as no save option but all in all the game plays very close to the original series.

Super Mario XP has excellent graphics, all the special power-ups and jumps you'd expect from a Super Mario game and more. It's taken some of the best features from the original series and even borrowed some from other platformers such as Castlevania. Depending on your setup, the game might display in a tiny window on your PC.

Super Mario War is a multiplayer game where up to four players play in a deathmatch on a traditional-looking Mario screen to see who can stomp as many Marios as they can to win.

The game includes artwork, sounds, and music that look like they've come straight from the classic Nintendo versions. In addition to the traditional deathmatch mode, Mario Wars includes other modes such as GetTheChicken, Domination, Capture the Flag and others. There's also a level editor that allows you to create your own maps.
