Overwatch

Overwatch is a multiplayer first person shooter from Blizzard Entertainment that features team squad based combat. Players select a hero to play with each having unique roles and ability. Game play consists of four different modes that are team co-op based.

Released in 2016, Overwatch is the first new game franchise from Blizzzard since the release of the original StarCraft back in 1998. It has quickly become one of the most popular and critically acclaimed games of 2016.

It's pretty easy to learn to play Overwatch.

Teams in Overwatch consist of two six player teams with each hero type design to have a different role on the team. Upon release there are 21 heroes for players to choose from that cover four different hero roles; Offense, Defense, Support and Tank. These are similar to roles found in MOBA games such as Heroes of the Storm, Dota 2 and League of Legends.

As players progress they will gain experience from matches won and lost. This experience is used to level and allow players to earl Loot Boxes which contain random cosmetic items, for use in game. The multiplayer matches take place over 15 different maps which are split across the four different game modes.

Theme: Sci-Fi, Alternative History
Rating: M for Mature
Game Modes: Single player, multiplayer
Game Series: BioShock

BioShock Infinite is a sci-fi first person shooter set in a steampunk setting of the early 1900s. It is the third game in the BioShock series, BioShock and BioShock 2, each of which were very well received by both critics and gamers alike. In BioShock Infinite, you will find a gem of a game that outshines both if its predecessors and finds itself as the top first person shooter released over the past few years.

In BioShock Infinite, players take on the role of a Pinkerton detective set in the ficticious city of Columbia. Columbia is unique due to the fact that it floats and travels through the use of blimps, balloons, propellers and other early 20th century steampunk technology. Columbia was meant to be showcase America and server as a floating World's Fair, but much like Rapture, the setting of the previous BioShock games, things take a turn for the worse.

BioShock Infinite's blend of action and storytelling has been praised by critics with some calling the mature theme and storyline one of the best ever. In addition to the main release the game has seen the release of five downloadable content packs, Season Pass, Columbia's Finest, Clash in the Clouds and Burial at Sea.
