  • Traffic checker makes the game a little too easy.

The sense of speed is unparalleled and the environments are extremely detailed. The cars don't look quite as nice as other racing games, but they smash up real good and that is what is important in Burnout.

Great lighting. Great character designs. Great animation. Doom 3 is a fantastic looking game in every respect.

Half-Life 2

  • Erratic enemy AI.

That is the best way to describe Half-Life 2. Everything looks absolutely realistic. Great lighting and water effects. Good animation. And just the right coat of grit on everything so it looks real rather than too shiny or like plastic.

Dead or Alive Ultimate

  • Sticks to the "Dead or Alive" formula.

What We Don't Like

  • Missing some characters from "Dead or Alive 3."

  • Dialogue is in Japanese with English subtitles.

Smooth animation. Great looking environments. And some amazing looking character models make DOAU a sight to behold.

Forza Motorsport

Forza Motorsport is one of the best looking racing games of the Xbox generation. The car models are absolutely fantastic and feature real-time damage for that extra touch of realism. This game looks simply amazing.

Chronicles of Riddick

Riddick is still one of the best looking Xbox games even now several years after it was released. Great lighting effects and detailed textures on every surface are the keys here.

Visually, Psychonauts is a cross between Dr. Seuss, Tim Burton, and a Pixar movie. It isn't dark and scary, but rather delightfully offbeat and "not quite right", and that is why we love it.
