You Can Add 20 Friends as Favorites

With watchOS 2, Apple increased the number of friends you’re able to add as Favorites on the Watch. While you’re probably not running to your address book on the Watch very often, going ahead and selecting some more friends to put on the Watch can save you a tremendous amount of time when you do need them.

Since the favorites are divided up into two different wheels of 10, think about how you can divide your “Favorites” into two wheels as well. One popular choice is to make one wheel for personal friends, and another for business associates you need to contact frequently. Alternatively. You could make one wheel for family members and another for close friends. Think about what makes sense for you, and then organize them that way.

To create your own unique Favorites section, go into the Apple Watch app on your phone and then select “Friends.” From there you’ll ave access to the two Fried wheels where you can customize your own personal favorites.

Remove Apps

By default, apps that you install on your phone that have an Apple Watch app will automatically install onto your Watch as well. If you don’t use a ton of apps that have Apple Watch counterparts, then that’s absolutely what you want it to do. Over time; however, you can end up with a ton of apps on your Apple Watch screen, making it hard for you to find the ones you want when you need it.

To remove apps you don’t want, launch the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and then scroll down to the bottom of the “May Watch” screen. There you will find all of the apps that you currently have installed on your Apple Watch. For apps you don’t use, tap into then and then toggle the slide at the top of the screen labeled “Show App on Apple Watch” from the right to the left.

Rearrange Apps

Once you have only the apps you want installed on your Apple Watch, then the next step is to arrange the apps so they’re easy for you to find. In order to rearrange the apps on your w Watch, go into the Watch app on your iPhone and then scroll down to “App Layout” (it should be in the top section). From there you’ll be able to see all of the icons for all of the apps you currently have installed on your Apple Watch. Drag and drop them around on the screen in order to get them exactly where you want them.

Consider organizing the apps on the screen based on the type of service they provide. A simple organization such as putting all your games in the top right, messaging apps in the top left, and transportation apps in the bottom right can make finding those apps when you need them a ton easier.
