Experience

Ted French is a former writer for Lifewire, where he wrote about spreadsheets for more than 10 years. He is a high school computer teacher, who places Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets high on the list of programs that he regularly teaches to his students.

For nine years, he also taught adults how to use Excel, Lotus 123, Quattro Pro and other computer programs. While engaged in teaching adults, he was employed as a computer network administrator.
