TCL Releases a Trio of New 20 Series Smartphones

The 20SE, 20S, and 20 Pro 5G are available on Amazon from $189

TCL has announced a trio of new 20 Series smartphones—the TCL 20 Pro 5G ($499), TCL 20S ($249), and TCL 20SE ($149)—available today through Amazon.

Each of these new TCL smartphones aims to provide users with features like high-resolution displays and Qualcomm Snapdragon processors at a variety of price points. "This year we continue our mission to bring affordable premium devices to market with beautiful designs, incredible displays, and robust features that provide great consumer value," said Eric Anderson, senior vice president and general manager of TCL in North America, in a press release.

The most powerful of the three, the TCL 20 Pro 5G ($499.99), contains a Snapdragon 750G processor, 256GB of ROM, 6GB of RAM, and supports up to a 1TB microSD card.

It utilizes a 6.67-inch Dotch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080, and claims up to 28 hours of talk time on 4G (up to 30 on 3G).

The TCL 20S ($249.99) sits in the middle with a Snapdragon 665 processor, 128GB of ROM and 4 GB of RAM, and the same level of microSD card support (1TB) as the Pro 5G. It offers the same display size and resolution as the Pro 5G as well, though its talk time lasts a bit longer at up to 35 hours on both 4G and 3G.

Rounding things out is the TCL 20SE ($149.99), sporting a Snapdragon 460 processor and the same 128GB of ROM and 4GB of RAM as the 20S—though it only supports up to a 256GB microSD card. The resolution on the 20SE is lower than the others, however, with a 6.82-inch U-notch HD screen at 720 x 1640. Battery life sits between the 20 Pro 5G and the 20S, lasting up to 31 hours on 4G and up to 39 hours on 3G.

All three models are available unlocked on Amazon today, and will be compatible with most Global System for Mobile (GSM) networks, such as T-Mobile or AT&T.
