How to Watch the Official ESPN Monday Night Football Livestream

ESPN has the sole right to broadcast and stream Monday Night Football. That means if you have a subscription to a qualifying cable or satellite television provider, you can watch an official stream of every Monday Night Football game right on your computer.

To watch Monday Night Football online:

  1. Use your favorite web browser to navigate to espn.com/watch.

  2. Select any live stream, and then select your cable or satellite provider from the list.

  3. Follow the prompts to log in to your cable or satellite provider.

  4. Return to espn.com/watch on game day and select the Monday Night Football game to watch it live.

This process is straightforward if your television provider is the same as your internet provider, as the system can automatically validate your connection. If you aren't at home or have separate internet and television providers, be sure to jot down the username and password for your cable or satellite television account so you can sign in.

Once you have successfully validated your cable or satellite information on the ESPN website, you'll be able to watch live or previously recorded video, with the exception of content that's exclusive to ESPN+.

If you aren't on your home network, you will need to log in manually.

Live Stream ESPN Monday Night Football on Your Phone

In addition to letting you stream Monday Night Football directly from its Watch ESPN website, ESPN also has a mobile app that allows you to watch games on your phone, tablet, and other compatible devices.

Like the ESPN website, the ESPN app requires a valid cable or satellite television subscription if you want to watch premium content.

To stream Monday Night Football through the ESPN app:

  1. Download the iOS ESPN: Live Sports and Scores app, or get the Android ESPN app.

  2. Tap Settings (gear icon).

  3. Tap TV Provider.

  4. If your internet and TV providers are the same, tap Allow to let ESPN access your TV subscription automatically.

Stream Monday Night Football With a TV Streaming Service

Since ESPN is the only company authorized to broadcast or stream Monday Night Football, the only official way to watch Monday Night Football online is through ESPN.

If you are a cord cutter without a valid cable or satellite television subscription, you can subscribe to a live television streaming service that includes ESPN.

What Television Streaming Services Include ESPN?

Many different companies provide live TV streams, but they don't always include ESPN. Here are some options to look at if you're willing to pay to stream ESPN for Monday Night Football:

  • Sling TV: All three plans include ESPN. If you're mainly interested in ESPN, go for Sling Orange, which is the cheapest option. This is the least expensive streaming plan of any service that includes ESPN.
  • DirecTV Stream (formerly AT&T TV NOW): Every plan includes ESPN, so it's safe to go with the Essentials plan, which is the least expensive option.
  • Hulu with Live TV: The basic subscription includes ESPN.
  • YouTube TV: The basic package includes ESPN.
  • FuboTV: All FuboTV plans include ESPN, including the Starter plan, which is the least expensive option. FuboTV offers a free seven-day trial, so you can see if you like the service before committing.
