How to Back Up Cities in SimCity 4 Choose your backup method, whether it be another hard drive on your computer or network, cloud storage, or a CD.Open Windows Explorer.Open My Documents.Browse to: \SimCity 4\Regions\ (C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\SimCity 4\Regions\ is the full folder path with Username being your Windows account name)The folder names will be the title of your region.
