Mail Gmail Tweet Share Email Checking for Zoho Mail on your iPhone manually and repeatedly is an inconvenient time waster. Fortunately, you can configure iPhone Mail to connect with your Zoho Mail account seamlessly so that you receive push notifications — meaning your phone lets you know automatically when an email reaches your Zoho Mail account. Information in this article applies to the Mail app on iPhones running iOS 13 through iOS 10. If you haven't already set up Zoho Mail on your iPhone, you need to do that before you can set up the notifications. If you already have Zoho Mail configured as IMAP and set up on your iPhone, jump to the next section for information on how to set up notifications for incoming Zoho email. How to Add Zoho Mail to Your iPhone Mail App The Mail app on an iPhone can accommodate most well-known email accounts, including Zoho. Here's how to add Zoho to the Mail app. Open your Zoho Mail account in a web browser. Select Settings > Mail Accounts > Email Forwarding and enable IMAP if it isn't already enabled. Open Settings on your iPhone and tap Passwords & Accounts. Select Add Account. Select Other at the bottom of the preconfigured account options. Select Add Mail Account. Enter your name, Zoho email address, and password. Tap Next. Tap IMAP at the top of the screen. In the Incoming Mail Server section, enter the information as follows: Host Name: imap.zoho.comUser Name: your Zoho email addressPassword: your Zoho email password In the Outgoing Mail Server section, enter the information as follows: Host Name: smtp.zoho.comUser Name: your Zoho email addressPassword: your Zoho email password Tap Next. The iPhone verifies your Zoho account. Confirm the slider next to Mail is in the On/green position. Tap Save. In the Passwords & Accounts screen, tap Fetch New Data at the bottom of the screen. Next to Zoho in the account list, it should say Fetch. If not, tap it and select Fetch. Select Automatically to instruct the iPhone to fetch Zoho email. Zoho is added to your iPhone Mail app and automatically updates with your incoming emails as long as the iPhone is connected either to Wi-Fi or a cellular signal. All that's left to do is to turn on and configure the Zoho Mail notifications. How to Set up Notifications for Zoho Email Open Settings on the iPhone and tap Notifications. Scroll down and tap Mail. Select Zoho in the account list. Turn on Allow Notifications at the top of the screen. Select the type of notifications you want to use for incoming Zoho mail. Options include the Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners. Optionally, designate a sound notification or have the Mail app display a badge with the number of new emails on it. The Show Previews default option is When Unlocked, but you can select Always or Never if you prefer.
