It can be a huge pain if you have tickets to an upcoming concert or sporting event, but later discover you can't go. Fortunately, you can use Ticketmaster to sell tickets to other fans directly through their website. It's simple, the transaction is verified and secured, Ticketmaster handles arranging payment, and you're in control of what you want to charge and how you want to be paid.

  1. Open your favorite web browser and head over to Ticketmaster. Select Sign In in the upper right corner of the page.

  2. After you sign in, select your name, then select My Account.

  3. You'll find your upcoming events listed in the main body of the page. Pick an event you want to sell the tickets for, then select My Tickets.

  4. You'll arrive on a page that lists out the information about your event. Above the listing of your tickets, Select Sell Tickets.

  5. Select the tickets you want to sell.

  6. The following screen lets you set the price for your tickets. Enter the price you would like to charge per ticket. When you're set with everything there, select Continue to move on to set your accepted payment method.

    There is a table to the right that breaks down Ticketmaster's fees and your payout per ticket. Below, you'll find your total earnings, should your tickets sell.

  7. Here you really don't have many options. Ticketmaster pays via direct deposit to a linked debit card or bank account. You can select from the cards and accounts already tied to your account, or select Add New Debit Card or Checking/Savings to add a new one.

  8. When you're satisfied with your listing, select Submit Listing at the bottom of the payment box to finalize your listing.

  9. Ticketmaster will add your tickets to the total pool of available tickets for the event. Potential buyers will see your tickets alongside the original tickets for sale normally found on the website. Of course, if the event is sold out, you'll be in a better position to sell.

    Ticketmaster verifies sales before disbursing your money to you. They wait an average of seven to ten days to confirm the sale, then send your deposit in two smaller payments
