Thankfully, it's easy to screen record on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Instructions in this article apply to devices running iOS 11 and later. How to Record the iPhone screen First, you might need to enable this feature in the device's settings. Follow the instructions below to access the iOS Screen Recording tool: Go to your device Settings and tap Control Center. Tap Customize Controls. Scroll down and tap the green plus (+) next to Screen Recording under More Controls. It will now appear under the Include section at the top of the screen. If Screen Recording is already listed in the Include section, you can skip this step. Press your device's Home button, or swipe up from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or from the top, depending on your iPhone version) to access the iOS Control Center. You should notice a new icon that looks like a record button. Tap the record icon, then tap Start Recording if prompted. A countdown will display before the recording begins. When you leave the Control Center, you'll see a red bar at the top of your screen or a red time indicator in the top-left corner. The recording tool will capture everything on your screen, including incoming notifications. Set up Do Not Disturb mode on iPhone to avoid text messages and phone calls from popping up. Tap the red bar or the timer to stop. A pop-up message will appear, asking if you'd like to finish. Tap Stop. You'll get a notification that the recording is in the IPhone photos app. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
