  4. Press your device's Home button, or swipe up from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.

  5. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or from the top, depending on your iPhone version) to access the iOS Control Center. You should notice a new icon that looks like a record button. Tap the record icon, then tap Start Recording if prompted.

A countdown will display before the recording begins. When you leave the Control Center, you'll see a red bar at the top of your screen or a red time indicator in the top-left corner.

The recording tool will capture everything on your screen, including incoming notifications. Set up Do Not Disturb mode on iPhone to avoid text messages and phone calls from popping up.

  6. Tap the red bar or the timer to stop. A pop-up message will appear, asking if you'd like to finish.

  7. Tap Stop. You'll get a notification that the recording is in the IPhone photos app.
