To start off this look at the Samsung DA-E750 Audio Dock, is a photo of what the system looks like from the front.

As you can see, the system has a unique physical design that features a glossy-finish wood cabinet (available in cherry or black) and exposed woven glass-fiber midrange/woofer cones, each paired with a soft dome tweeter. The speakers are also supported by a rear port and down firing subwoofer that will be shown later in this photo profile.

Here is a close-up look at what really makes the Samsung DA-E750 a little different for a compact system: There are two 12AU7 Dual Triode vacuum tubes (labeled in this system with its European designation ECC82). These tubes are used in place of solid state devices in the DA-E750's preamp stage, providing gain and filtering functions.

The signal output of the 12AU7 preamp functions are then combined with the built-in Samsung digital amplifier technology to provide a warmer, lower distortion power output to the DA-E750's own built-in speakers and subwoofer.

When vacuum tubes are combined with digital or solid state amplification, as in this example, the resulting system is referred to as a vacuum tube hybrid system.

However, vacuum tubes do generate heat and the transparent surface that covers the 12AU7s gets warm to the touch when in operation, so be sure place the unit where there there is space above to minimize heat build-up.

Here is a look at the bottom of the DA-E750, which slows the 5.25-inch down firing subwoofer, the chassis cover, and the support feet.

It is important to note that when you pick up or move the DA-E750 be mindful of the location of the subwoofer as it can be damaged if you place the unit on a surface that has vertically protruding objects, or you misplace your hands when lifting the unit in such a way that you puncture the subwoofer cone.
