With Quick Tap turned on, you can double-tap the back of the phone and activate certain features. Follow these steps to turn on Quick Tap:

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap System.

  3. Select Gestures.

  5. Tap the Use Quick Tap slider to move it to the on position. If you don’t see it, your phone doesn’t support the feature.

  6. By default, Quick Tap is set to take a screenshot, but you can change it to open Google Assistant, pause or play media, open your Recent Apps menu, show the notification shade, or even open a custom application.

    In Android 13, you can use Quick Tap to toggle the flashlight.
