Not all titles are confirmed to be available as soon as the PS5 launches; just that they will be available for the console at some point. Some titles will be completely exclusive to the PS5 while others will only be exclusive (timed) for a short time. Any unconfirmed titles indicate that information is unclear at this time about whether or not the games will be available on rival Xbox Series X. 01 of 19 Astro's Playroom (Full exclusive) Exclusive to PS5, this demo controller game comes pre-loaded with the console. This game is a sequel to Astro Bot Rescue Mission. Designed to showcase the new Dual-Sense controller for PS5, you can explore the different haptic sensations as Astro runs, bounces, and even struggles through sand. It's not amazing but it is a fun 3D way to get used to the new controller's capabilities. 02 of 19 Bugsnax (Timed exclusive) Love Animal Crossing? Get ready to love Bugsnax, where you'll play primarily as bipedal animals that turn into the snack foods they eat. Sounds fun and whimsical but when you realize that the bugsnax you're trying to eat were once people too, it gives this family-friendly game a bit of a psychological horror twist. Bugsnax Hands On: A Shallow and Dubious Snack 03 of 19 Deathloop (Unconfirmed exclusive) Fans of the TV show Lost or the movie Groundhog Day will find an eerily similar type of premise in Deathloop, which takes place on a chaotic island where you are trapped in a timeloop. Add in a '70s flair and you'll find yourself shooting down targets, fending off assassins, and feeling like Quentin Tarantino has got to be hiding around the corner somewhere. 04 of 19 Destruction AllStars (Full exclusive) Racing fans! Tired of the same old racing games? Then be transported into the wild world of racing where, if Fortnite, Twisted Metal and Rocket League had a baby together, this is the wide-eyed animated result. It's futuristic vehicular combat at its finest, really, with the always satisfying goal of wrecking as many cars as possible. 05 of 19 Ghostwire (Unconfirmed exclusive) Tokyo has been overrun by deadly supernatural forces and you're among the 1 percent of survivors left to fight the paranormal threat. Untangle the mystery behind the mass disappearance and find some fresh new fun in the dopest game this side of Onmyōdō. 06 of 19 Godfall (Timed exclusive) Five weapon classes, lots of looting and slashing off heads, and the knowledge that you are the last of the Valorian knights with legendary armor. Director Keith Lee merged looting with third-person melee combat for skill-based, nonstop action. Mastering combat is a big part of this satisfying experience but finding loot, as always, has its own unique rewards. 07 of 19 Goodbye Volcano High (Timed exclusive) Combine a Netflix teen dinosaur drama with anime gaming action and you've got Goodbye Volcano High, where you'll guide Fan through their final year of high school. There are tons of minigames inside to illustrate changing circumstances, love, and life connections. 08 of 19 Gran Turismo 7 (Full exclusive) Welcome home, Gran Turismo fans. Racing enthusiasts will not be disappointed with this eighth installment in the series, rumored to include VR. Get your wishlist out: While not much is really known about what's inside the game, expectations are high for expanded power, more realistic damage, and better in-game handling. 09 of 19 Horizon: Forbidden West (Full exclusive) Aloy's story continues in a far-future America filled with lifelike (and some giant-sized) animals, foes, semi-recognizable landmarks, and both underwater and land adventures. Well-played, Sony and Guerrilla Games. 10 of 19 Jett: The Far Shore (Timed exclusive) Haunted by oblivion? Carve out a future with Mei on a mythic ocean planet where you can explore the vast unknowns of space and outwit adversaries in an interstellar adventure. 11 of 19 Kena: Bridge of Spirits (Timed exclusive) This story-driven adventure game uses Pixar-like animation to create a world of spirit companions to help players travel with Kena, a young spirit guide on a quest to understand the demise of a village. Build teams, explore a once-majestic world, and fight off spirits blocking your success. 12 of 19 Little Devil Inside (Timed exclusive) If dreamy and artistic is your aesthetic, try this quirky game on for size. Originally a Kickstarter campaign that wrestled its way into Sony's heart, the game centers on a world filled with atmospheric contrasts, hostile missions, and challenging survival journeys. There's no better 'little engine that could' game out there. 13 of 19 Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (Full exclusive) If a single game could take Sony over the edge in terms of console sales against the Xbox, this is it. Move over, Peter Parker, and make room for Spider-Man Miles Morales as he comes of age and takes on a crime syndicate in a David vs Goliath story arguably more compelling than the original Spiderman. Stop taking all our money, Sony! Why I’m Excited to Play Spider-Man: Miles Morales 14 of 19 Oddworld: Soulstorm (Timed exclusive) Abe from Oddworld is back and the fate of an entire people is up to you! This continuation of 2014's Oddworld is also a re-imagining of Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. If you're anti-establishment, get ready to help Abe lead his starving Mudokons through numerous adventures in search of the Soulstorm brew. 15 of 19 Project Athia (Timed exclusive) Battle one-eyed monsters and fiery dragons, leap across mountains, and venture into the unknown with Athia. Fans of other-worldly adventures will enjoy the twisted and forbidding journey that Athia is on in this fantasy action game. 16 of 19 Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (Full exclusive) Strafe shooting, jumping, platforming has nothing on the rifts that are a key part of this game. Ratchet & Clark can travel from here to there and back again, including between completely new worlds, so get ready for a fun, explosive ride through planets and adventures. 17 of 19 Returnal (Full Exclusive) Lifelike imagery, a cinematic feel, and a storyline reminiscent of Groundhog Day gives you Returnal, where you'll battle demon-looking creatures and spiders on an alien planet that appears to change every time you die. Get ready for a test of your sanity. 18 of 19 Solar Ash (Timed exclusive) The Void is calling. This oddly stylized semi-anime 3D adventure promises massive enemy encounters, wild high-speed traversal, mystery, and endearing characters. Cat-lovers will be unable to resist this game, which features an adventurous feline who must untangle an ancient mystery to find its way home.
