How to Print a Message in AIM Mail or AOL Mail

Some email messages are just fit to print. Maybe you need to file a hard copy away for safekeeping, produce it as a receipt for a merchandise return, refer to it as you undertake a task (such as cooking). Whatever the reason, printing a message in AIM Mail and AOL Mail is easy. 

How To Create a Printed Copy of an Email Message in AIM Mail or AOL Mail

If you don't want to print the entire page, highlight the section you want to print before continuing with step 2 above.

  1. Log in to your AOL Mail or AIM Mail account.

  2. Select the email message you want to print to open it.

  3. Select the More button on the toolbar above the message.

    Alternatively, select the printer icon in the upper-right corner of the message window.

  4. Choose Print Message from the drop-down list that appears. The print dialog will open.

  5. Select the printer settings you want to use and choose Print.

How to Print Contacts in AIM Mail or AOL Mail

AOL Mail provides several ways to print information from your contact list. For instance, you can print all of your contacts or filter them by a subcategory, such as family, friends, or coworkers if you added your contacts to a group when you created them.

Print Contacts by a Category

  1. Log in to your AOL Mail or AIM Mail account.

  2. Select Contacts in the navigation pane on the left side of the inbox.

  3. Select the View drop-down list and choose the category you want to print.

  4. Select the printer icon on the taskbar above the inbox to access printer options and choose Current Category. A new window will open displaying the contact information.

  5. Press Ctrl-P in Windows or ⌘+P on Mac to open the print dialog.

    Alternatively, select File from the browser toolbar and choose Print.

  6. Select the printer settings you want to use and choose Print.

Print Select Contacts

You can choose any of your contacts to create a custom list to print.

  1. Log in to your AOL Mail or AIM Mail account.

  2. Select Contacts in the navigation pane on the left side of the inbox.

  3. Select the checkboxes next to the names of the contacts you want to print.

  4. Select the printer icon on the taskbar above the inbox to access printer options and choose Selected Contacts. A new window will open displaying the contact information.

  5. Press Ctrl-P in Windows or ⌘+P on Mac to open the print dialog.

  6. Select the printer settings you want to use and choose Print.

Print All Contacts

You can print your entire contact list, as well.

  1. Log in to your AOL Mail or AIM Mail account.

  2. Select Contacts in the navigation pane on the left side of the inbox.

  3. Select the printer icon on the taskbar above the inbox to access printer options and choose All Contacts. A new window will open displaying the contact information.

  5. Select the printer settings you want to use and choose Print.

How to Print a Calendar in AIM Mail or AOL Mail

You can create a hardcopy printout of the calendar for a month, week, or day.

  1. Log in to your AOL Mail or AIM Mail account.

  2. Select Calendar in the navigation pane on the left side of the inbox.

  3. Choose the Select Calendar button on the taskbar above the calendar and choose the calendar you want to print. If you only have one calendar, continue to the next step.

  4. Select the Calendar View button on the taskbar above the calendar and choose Month, Week, or Day. The calendar view will update.

  5. Select the More button in the upper-right corner of the calendar and choose Print.

  6. Press Ctrl-P in Windows or ⌘+P on Mac to open the print dialog. Alternatively, choose Print from the File menu on the browser toolbar.

  7. Select the printer settings you want to use and choose Print.
