You can complete a quest in the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion video game using cheat codes for the PC.

You might need to use cheats if there is a glitch in the game or if you cannot complete your current quest for any reason.

How to Enter Oblivion Quest Cheats

  1. Hit the tilde key (~) to open the console screen.
  2. Use the qst code in the console to get the Quest ID.
  3. Enter completequest [questid] to manually complete the quest.

This method only sets the quest as complete, without actually completing it. Keep reading below for instructions on using the SetStage code to complete your quest successfully.

    Oblivion Quest Cheat Example

If you're having trouble completing the Boots of Springheel Jak quest, for example, this is what you'd do:

    1. Open the console using the instructions from above.
    2. Type and enter qst and note the quest code, which is TG10Boots in this example.
    3. Open the console again to enter completequest TG10Boots.

Doing this will set the quest into the completed quest list but it won't actually complete the quest for you.

To complete the quest correctly, open the console and type ShowQuestTargets to bring up a list of Quest IDs for completion. Again, take note of them and then open the console again to type SetStage TG10Boots 100.

Use this method for any quest. The code format is: SetStage [questid] [100 or 200], where 100 is a successful completion and 200 signals an incomplete quest.

Tip: Do not use the caqs code unless you want to complete all quests in the game without giving you any titles for guild factions.
