My GearMy day to day set up includes a 2017 13-inch Macbook Air, currently running macOS Catalina version 10.15.7, and an iPhone 11 Pro Max, which is synched with a Series 4 Apple Watch. I’m a new 11-inch iPad Pro user, which is equipped with a second-generation Apple Pencil and a Magic Keyboard. More often than not, my Apple Airpods can be found in my ears. I have a PlayStation 4 that I use for all of my gaming and entertainment needs, including playing hours of Tomb Raider and Tetris (yes, you read that right). Also, I’m team Nikon, I have a Nikon D40X which I use for recreational photography. For fun, I often use a Minolta Hi-Matic AF2 point and shoot film camera that was first released in the early 1980s. My favorite piece of tech equipment would have to be my Polaroid camera that uses 600 film. Education Michelai earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with a specialization in editorial reporting, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media & Information, with a specialization in TV, cinema and radio, from Michigan State University in 2016. She went on to get a Masters of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Affairs with an emphasis on investigative reporting from American University in 2018. The majority of her studies focused on filmmaking, creating news packages from conceptualization to final product, and various forms of reporting including, profiling and data journalism.
