Marziah is a Senior Instructional Designer in Portland, Oregon. Prior to that, she spent nearly fifteen years as an educational technologist for the largest community college in Kansas. She's also taught undergraduate credit courses in interactive media and often gives professional presentations on the use of technology in instruction.
Marziah earned a graduate certificate in Serious Game Design from Michigan State University. Prior to that, she earned a Master's in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University and was awarded the Outstanding IDT Graduate Student Award by the university's Teachers College. She's currently a Ph.D student (ABD) in Library and Information Management with an interest in studying the information behavior of independent game designers.
