Lynn McAlpine has been editing for web publications since 2009, primarily - but not exclusively - for Apple content. Before that, she worked for newspapers in the Memphis metro area. She served as copy chief for the launch of the Techwalla tech site, and she is a member of ACES: The Society for Editing.
McAlpine published her own print magazine, "Starshore for the SF Reader," for one glorious year. She served as the production manager for a commercial printing company, where she was responsible for keeping the computers (PCs and Macs) networked and running.
I edit on an iMac with a 27-inch screen and use a MacBook Pro for nonwork web surfing. I love my big iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil, and hang on to a smaller iPad for reading. I pair my Apple Watch with my iPhone and spend my evenings in front of an Apple TV-equipped television.
Lynne received a B.A. in Journalism / Magazine Production from the University of Memphis.
