Fans of NASCAR and other forms of auto racing will be pleased to know that there are a myriad of shows, networks, streams, and Podcasts available for following the sport on AM, FM, Satellite, and Internet radio.

Satellite Radio

SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio provides a variety of offerings which sometimes have cross-references because the two services merged in 2008. Both services now air every American Le Mans Series race on both XM and SIRIUS.

Both SIRIUS and XM also carry Formula 1 auto racing.

All the above racing is broadcast on SIRIUS 126 and XM 242.

XM Satellite Radio

XM Channel 128 offers SIRIUS NASCAR Radio on XM 128 (as part of the XM "Best of SIRIUS" option). The channel features 24/7 NASCAR Talk. It airs every race plus including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and Driver2Crew Chatter.

Personalities featured on the channel include Ray Evernham, Buddy Baker, Suzy Q. Armstrong, Mike Bagley, Rich Benjamin, Jerry Bonkowski, Randy LaJoie, Dave Moody, Chocolate Myers, Mojo Nixon, Pat Patterson, David Poole, Steve Post, and Pete Pistone.

XM Channel 145 is home to IndyCar Series Racing and Indy Racing League. All the IndyCar races are broadcast live and feature Mike King and the IMS Radio Network.

SIRIUS Satellite Radio

SIRIUS NASCAR Radio airs the Daytona 500.

Sirius XM App

SiriusXM simulcasts the NASCAR Radio channel’s programming - including all live NASCAR races through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App.

Traditional AM/FM

MRN Radio Networks ( has been around since 1970. It was formed by NASCAR Founder, Bill France, Sr. because of his discontent with the way traditional media outlets were providing coverage at the time. MRN has grown over the years and now boasts a very respectable network of stations. To find a station near you, see the affiliate list.

The Performance Racing Network is home to several programs including "Garage Pass", a daily 5-minute news feature that features the latest NASCAR racing news and information. It is aired on over 450 Radio stations. For a list of affiliates, go here.

The Final Lap with Kerry Murphey is a nationally syndicated show which covers the top 3 divisions of NASCAR racing, Craftsman Truck Series, Busch Series, and the Cup Series. The Final Lap is heard 5 days a week and features daily NASCAR news, stories, interviews, and more.

Internet Radio and Podcasts features Podcasts from NASCAR writers Dennis Michelsen and Mike Harper with digital media artist Lori Munro. RaceTalkRadio has grown from a single show in 2006 to six nights a week of race talk entertainment.
