Learn how to listen to iTunes podcasts on your Android device using an app or a web browser. Instructions in this article apply to all smartphones and tablets no matter who made your Android device: Samsung, Google, Huawei, Xiaomi, etc. How to Listen to Podcasts From a Website on Android Many podcasters make their podcast episodes available on their websites. To download or listen to podcasts from the web: Open a web browser on your Android device and go to a website that makes podcast episodes available for listening or download. Go to the iTunes Preview page to search for podcasts. When you select a podcast, you’ll see a list of episodes and a link to the podcast website. Select the episode you want and select Listen, Play, or the appropriate icon. The podcast episode plays in the default audio player. Select the Download link (often represented as a down arrow) if available. The podcast episode is saved to the Android Downloads app. Podcasts downloaded from websites are typically in the MP3 format and play on any Android media player. How to Transfer Podcasts from iTunes to Android If you use iTunes on your computer, it's possible to transfer podcasts from iTunes to your Android device. However, before you transfer episodes from a PC or Mac, subscribe to the podcast. To download podcasts to your computer and move them to your Android: Open iTunes on your PC or Mac computer. Go to the iTunes store and find the podcast you want. Select Subscribe on the podcast homepage. Go to the Library and download the podcast you want by selecting the Download links beside each episode. To find the downloaded podcast episodes, open the file manager on your computer and go to Music > iTunes > iTunes Media > Podcasts. Connect your Android device to your computer via USB cable and open it's contents with the file explorer in a separate window. Select the podcast files you want to transfer from your computer and drag the files to the Music folder on your Android device. When the files are transferred to your Android, find them in your device's internal storage and select an episode. The file plays in your default media player. How to Find Podcasts on Google Podcasts If you want to use a dedicated Android app to listen to your favorite podcasts, give Google Podcasts a try. If you find a podcast on iTunes, chances are you’ll also find it on Google Podcasts. You can get the Google Podcasts App on Google Play. To find podcasts: Open the Google Podcasts app and tap the magnifying glass in the upper-left corner to search for podcasts. Select the podcast you want and tap Subscribe to add the podcast to your list of favorites. Tap Play beside an episode to start listening. How to Use RadioPublic to Find Free Podcasts Aside from Google Podcasts, there are many more podcast apps for Android users, but one of these apps stands out. RadioPublic gives podcast creators the opportunity to create a universal podcast link. This universal link allows podcast listeners to open a podcast episode on any device. After you download the RadioPublic App from the Google Play Store, creating an account is not required to use most features. To navigate the RadioPublic app: Tap Explore at the top of the RadioPublic window and search for podcasts. Select a podcast you’d like to listen to, then tap Start Listening or Add to home on the podcast homepage. To see your list of podcasts, tap Back, then tap Home at the top of the main RadioPublic window. Tap the episode you want to download on the podcast homepage.
