Listen to IceCast Radio Stations Using VLC Media Player

VLC is a popular and capable software media player for both digital music and video. But, did you know about its Internet radio feature? Since version 1.1.0, the VideoLAN Organization has had to exclude SHOUTcast Radio as a built-in option due to licensing conditions. However, if you want to listen to radio stations that stream over the Web, you can use an open-source equivalent called, IceCast.
