Roeder is a former writer for Lifewire, where she wrote articles on social media, personal websites, and other technology topics for more than 11 years. Roeder has created and helped others create websites since 1998 and has written for numerous websites and blogs. She works as an IT support technician and provides tech support over the phone to people from major companies. 

Roeder is a longtime web enthusiast and consultant with a broad knowledge of how personal web pages, blogs, wikis, and social networking sites are created and used by average (and not so average) people online. 


Roeder earned a B.A. in Accounting from Alvernia College and a B.A. in Networking and Systems Security from Strayer University, Pennsylvania, where she graduated summa cum laude. She has completed many online courses on a wide array of web development content including several online courses at her local college and other online education sources.
