If you have or are planning to get an LG Smart TV and are looking for something to play on it, you can take advantage of three free months of Google Stadia Pro's game streaming service.

So long as you have a supported LG TV (using webOS 5.0 or higher) and a compatible controller, you can nab a free Stadia Pro subscription and play more than 50 different games at no extra cost. No need to buy or hook up a game console—just set up an account and play straight through your TV (and internet connection).

Setting it all up is a matter of finding the Stadia Pro offer in the LG Content Store, then scanning the QR code to get started. From there, you'll set up a Stadia Pro account (sorry current Stadia Pro subscribers) and immediately have access to the 50 or so preselected free games. With the ability to play some titles at 60 frames per second in 4K HDR, with 5.1 surround sound support.

While Google Stadia's games library isn't as robust as other streaming services, it does offer more than just those 50+ freebies. LG states that the library currently includes more than 250 titles, with some recent releases such as Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Baldur's Gate 3, and Resident Evil Village.

The Stadia Pro promotion is available now for all compatible LG TVs and can be used in any of the countries where Google Stadia is currently available when you set up a new Stadia subscription. According to LG, you have to redeem your free three months between now and January 31, 2023.
