Experience

Kaylyn’s writing career began during graduate school and initially focused on business technology and psychology topics. She later expanded her horizons to include consumer technology reporting. As a lifelong Apple devotee, she started by covering Apple product news and features for MakeUseOf. She later expanded into product reviews and deal spotlights for Forbes, CBS News, and other online publications.

She is passionate about tech accessibility and has covered consumer and business tech accessibility for traditional tech websites and Accessibility.com. She enjoys testing and evaluating new tech products to ensure everyone can enjoy them.

Kaylyn previously worked in marketing and copywriting for several technology brands and applications, including virtual events platforms, mobile applications, and SaaS software. However, she has since realized that she prefers to review and report on products rather than market them. She currently enjoys testing out the latest consumer tech releases and keeping up to date with the newest TikTok famous gadgets.

My Gear

Kaylyn is an Apple loyalist with an iPhone 8 (waiting to upgrade to the 14 this year),  iPad 9, Apple Watch 7, and a 2018 Macbook Air. Around her home, she uses an iRobot Roomba, Furbo dog camera, and Sony Bravia smart TV.

Education

Kaylyn obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. She also graduated summa cum laude from Touro University with a Masters in Industrial Psychology.
