Karen Marcus is a former Lifewire writer. In addition to working with such well-known tech companies as HP, IBM, Intel, Samsung, and Amazon Web Services, Karen has written in consumer-focused promotional magazines about a wide variety of tech topics, including digitizing old photos, social media, live streaming, cybersecurity, photo filters, and many others. She enjoys demystifying technology and helping people use it to improve their lives.

Karen has a B.A. in English Literature from University of Colorado at Denver; and an M.A. in English, with an emphasis in communication development, from Colorado State University.
