Justin Slick

Justin has been creating 3D computer graphics for over four years, specializing in character and environment creation in Autodesk Maya & ZBrush. He started making 3D art after discovering a copy of Autodesk Maya on an old computer in a traditional animation studio (and never really looked back)! You can check out Justin's personal projects at his portfolio page.

Justin has been a team member on two animated short-film projects, acting as a 3D modeler, animator and texture painter on both shorts. His animations were also featured in GreenLite Dartmouth, a campus-wide energy monitoring initiative at Dartmouth College. He worked as a Teaching Assistant in Dartmouth's computer sciences department, assisting with lectures and assignments in both Introduction to 3D Modeling and Computer Animation. Justin participated as a student volunteer at the 2009 Siggraph Computer Graphics conference in New Orleans, where his work was also shown during GreenLite Dartmouth's white paper talk. He is an active community member at numerous computer graphics forums, and recently participated for the 3D Total team in the Dominance War game-art competition.

Justin studied Digital Arts at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. One of the first students to go through the new program, he graduated cum laude in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts and Psychology.
