Welcome everyone, I'm Joli Ballew, thanks for visiting! Here I'll show you how to do some really cool things with your technology, including offering tips and tricks to help you get the most from your devices along with ways to secure them. I'll write about what you use in your home too, including how to create and manage a home network, enhance network speed, and get the most from all of your handheld devices. I'll include even more topics, so check back often to see what's going on!
As for me, I've written almost 60 books, and have been published in over a dozen languages. I hold a B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in English Literature, several Microsoft certifications, serve as the Microsoft IT Academy Coordinator at Brookhaven Community College (part of the Dallas County Community College District) and I'm also an IT professor there. I have five courses at Lynda.com as well, most of which are Microsoft certification courses relating to network administration. I'm currently enjoying my tenth year as a Microsoft MVP.
When I'm not writing, researching, or teaching, I spend time with my family, pets, and two granddaughters. I spend the rest of my free time at the gym, and in 2016, completed yoga teacher training and I am a certified yoga instructor.
