Experience

Jeremy Girard is a former writer for Lifewire. Written over a span of two years, his more than 50 articles on the site offer insight and guidance on website design and technology.

He has been designing for the web since 1999, serving industry leaders such as PepsiCo, Frito Lay, the Washington Redskins, Universal Studios Hollywood, Honey Dew Donuts, Amica Insurance, The United Way of Rhode Island, Roger Williams Park Zoo, and many more. In addition to websites, he has developed marketing campaigns, touchscreen kiosk interfaces, digital signage content, logos, print materials, and trade show displays.

He currently serves a dual role as the director of marketing and head of web design/development for Envision Technology Advisors. He also teaches website design and front-end development at the University of Rhode Island and is a regular contributor to industry publications including Smashing Magazine, The Next Web, and others.
