Jay is a Los Angeles-based freelance writer who has been covering tech since 2017. Before Lifewire, she wrote for a publication called Gadgets Magazine, and was also working odd jobs in the entertainment industry. She considers herself a jack-of-all-trades: a writer first and foremost, but also a journalist and filmmaker.


Jay has her B.A. in writing for film and television from Emerson College.
