The official PGA Tour app provides schedules, real-time scoring, video highlights and player stats. If you’re unfamiliar with a certain course, the app also offers course profiles complete with images of each hole. Live video is available for some competitions.

The Rules of Golf

Still sketchy on some of those obscure golf rules? The United States Golf Association’s The Rules of Golf app (USGA, $3.99) offers on-demand access to every golf rule imaginable. A search function makes it easy to find the rule or decision you’re looking for, and if you get stuck, you can email your question to the USGA directly from the app.
