How to Watch the Tony Awards Live Stream

If you've cut the cord, but you still want to keep tabs on Broadway, there's no reason to miss even a moment of glamour, action, or entertainment. You can watch the Tony Awards live stream from your computer, tablet, smartphone, or even on your television with a compatible streaming device.

CBS holds the exclusive rights to air the Tonys, but there are many different ways to stream the ceremony.

CBS All Access

If it's Tonys time and you aren't near a TV, you can navigate to CBS.com and watch via the CBS All Access streaming service. This option requires a subscription to CBS All Access, but there is a free trial available if you've never checked it out before.

To stream the Tonys on CBS.com, go to the site, select Try CBS All Access in the upper right corner, and sign up for the trial. Once you're all set up, return to CBS.com during the Tony Awards, select Live TV, and the show will start.

CBS App

You can watch the Tony Awards on your phone, tablet, or streaming device with the CBS app and a CBS All Access subscription. The CBS app is available for iOS, Android, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, and more. Once you have installed the app on your device, you will have to log in using your CBS All Access credentials or sign up for CBS All Access if you don't have it yet.

Other Ways to Live Stream the Tonys

In addition to CBS All Access, you can also live stream CBS and the Tony Awards via several streaming subscription services. CBS isn't available in every area from every service, so make sure to check availability before you sign up.

Most of these services offer a free trial, which is a great way to watch the Tonys for free while verifying that the service has CBS in your area.

Tony Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show Live Stream

The Tonys might be best known for the performances during the show, but some of the best candid little moments occur on the red carpet before the show even starts.
