How to Unsubscribe From a Magazine or App on Your iPad

Apple Music

It's easy to subscribe to video, music, and magazine services on your iPhone or iPad. But the day may come when you don't want those recurring charges anymore. Whether you want to save some money or just aren't interested in a streaming service anymore, it doesn't take much to cut an app out of your life.

The option to cancel an app subscription or a magazine auto-renewal is in the Settings app. Here's how to find it:

  9. Depending on the structure of the subscription, you might still be able to access the service until it's up for renewal. The expiration date will appear on the Subscriptions page after you cancel.

Subscriptions apply to your entire Apple ID, so if you use one on your iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, and Mac, you only have to cancel it on one of them to remove it from all devices.

You can also use these menus to resubscribe to services you've ended. Here's how:

  1. Return to the Subscriptions page.

  2. Find the app or service you want to renew under the Expired heading, and then tap on it.
