Here's a look at the Disney+ settings you need to tweak to disable or enable autoplay as and when you want it. 

How to Turn off Disney Plus Autoplay via Your Web Browser

Regularly use Disney+ via your web browser? It's simple to switch off autoplay with a few easy settings tweaks. Here's what to do. 

These instructions work in all web browsers including Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

  1. Hover over your profile icon.

    You may need to log in first.

  2. Click Edit Profiles.

  3. Click on the profile you want to edit.

    You'll need to change autoplay settings for each profile individually. 

  4. Click the Autoplay toggle to switch it to off.

How to Switch Disney+ Autoplay on via Your Web Browser

Realized you actually loved autoplay and the convenience it offers? Not needing to click on the next episode is definitely useful at times. Here's how to switch Disney Plus autoplay back on. 

If you're switching autoplay off to keep your kids from binging too much TV, you might also want to adjust the parental controls to ensure they're viewing appropriate content when they are watching.

  1. Hover over your profile icon.

  2. Click Edit Profiles.

    Like when turning autoplay off, you'll need to change autoplay settings for each profile individually.

  4. Click the Autoplay toggle to switch it back to on.

How to Turn off Disney+ Autoplay via the Mobile App

Unlike other streaming services like Netflix, you can change Disney+ autoplay settings via the mobile app. Here's how to do it.

These instructions apply to both iOS and Android although the screenshots are from the iOS app.

  1. Open the Disney+ app.

    You may need to log in if this is your first time using the app.

  2. Tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner.

  3. Tap Edit Profiles.

  4. Tap the profile you wish to change settings on.

  5. Tap the Autoplay toggle to switch Autoplay off.

  6. Tap Save.

How to Switch Disney+ Autoplay Back on via the Mobile App

Changed your mind about switching off Disney+ autoplay? Here's how to turn it back on via the mobile app.

  1. Open the Disney+ app.

    You may need to log in if this is the first time you've used the app.

  2. Tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner.

  3. Tap Edit Profiles.

  4. Tap the profile you wish to change settings on.
