What to Know

  • The only way to see specifically who has saved your post is to ask your followers in an Instagram Story.
  • To see how many people saved it, go to Settings > Account > Switch to Business Account or Switch to Creator Account > View insights.

This article explains how to see who has saved your Instagram post and how many times it's been saved.

If you really want to engage with your followers, try asking a question with an Instagram questions sticker,

Make the text smaller by pinching the screen; drag two fingers apart to enlarge it.

See How Many Times Your Post Has Been Saved

If you have a Personal account, you must first switch it to a free Business or Creator account by selecting Settings > Account, then choosing Switch to Business Account or Switch to Creator Account. Follow the prompts to complete the process. Then:

  1. Tap the Profile icon to view your posts. It looks like a silhouette.

  2. Tap the post you want to view the save count for.

  3. Tap View Insights under the image or video. A variety of stats will appear. The bookmark icon refers to how many times someone has saved this post to one of their Collections.

Seeing who saves your posts on Instagram can be more important than tracking the number of likes, because saving a post to an Instagram Collection means someone not only likes your content, but wants to share it or refer back to it. Short of asking your followers, however, there's no way to see exactly who saved your Instagram posts or to what collections. The reason for this limitation is likely privacy.
