This can often be more important than the number of likes you get, as saving a post to an Instagram Collection means someone not only likes your content, but wants to refer back to it again in the future or share it with a friend. How to Know if Someone Saves Your Picture on Instagram Unlike when someone likes one of your posts on Instagram, you won’t get a notification for when someone saves a post to an Instagram Collection. The only way to see who saves your pictures on Instagram is to view a post’s advanced insights, which are available to those with Business or Creator accounts. Anyone can change their Personal Instagram account to a Business or Creator account. Just select Settings > Account, then choose either Switch to Business Account or Switch to Creator Account. If you have an Instagram Creator or Business account, you can see how many times your posts have been saved by doing the following: Open the Instagram app on your iOS or Android device. Tap the Profile icon to view your own posts. The Profile icon is the one on the far-right of the bottom menu that looks like a person’s silhouette. Tap the post you want to view the save count for. Once the post has loaded, tap View Insights under the image or video. A variety of stats will appear. The bookmark icon refers to how many times someone has saved this post to one of their Collections. How to Check Who Saved Your Instagram Posts Unfortunately, there’s no way for how to see who saved your Instagram posts using the Instagram apps or website. Nor is there any way to see what Instagram Collections your photo or video posts were saved to. The reason for this limitation is likely due to privacy concerns so it’s impossible to view or download this specific data. One way to discover who saves your Instagram posts is to simply ask your followers in an Instagram Story. Here’s an example of how to do it: Open the Instagram app on your smartphone or tablet. Tap the post you want to ask your followers about. Take a screenshot of the Instagram post’s page via the built-in iOS or Android screenshot methods. Tap the Home icon to return to your main Instagram feed. Tap the Stories icon in the top left corner to begin a new Instagram Story. The Stories icon is the one that looks like a camera. Swipe up to browse for the screenshot of your Instagram post. Tap the screenshot image to add it to your Story. Tap the Text icon to add a message to your followers. If you really want to engage with your followers, try asking a question with an Instagram questions sticker, Tap Done when you’re finished typing. Make the text smaller by pinching the screen; drag two fingers apart to enlarge it. Tap Your stories to publish the Instagram Story to your followers. They will be able to reply to the Story via a DM.
