Supported devices include the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max; iPhone X, XS, and XS Max; iPhone 8 Plus; and iPhone 7 Plus. To post 3D photos to Facebook with an Android, your device needs Portrait Mode, Lens Blur, or Live Focus Mode. How to Post a 3D Photo on Facebook Posting a 3D photo to Facebook is easy on supported iPhones and Android devices. Posting a 3D Photo With an iPhone Log in to your Facebook app on a supported iPhone that has Portrait Mode. Tap What's on your mind? at the top of your News Feed. Tap Photo/Video. Select a Portrait Mode photo from your Camera Roll or an album and tap Done. You'll see 3D in the bottom right of eligible photos. Tap Make 3D in the top left of your photo. Wait a few moments as Facebook processes your photo, and then the 3D photo appears. Move your iPhone around a little to see your 3D photo in action. Write something about the post, if you like. Tap Share or Post. To remove the 3D effect, you can tap Remove 3D in the top left of your photo. Your 3D photo is now on Facebook! Posting a 3D Photo With an Android Device Log in to the Facebook app for Android on a supported device that has Portrait Mode, Lens Blur, or Live Focus Mode. Tap What's on your mind? at the top of your News Feed. Scroll down and tap 3D Photo. Select the Live Focus Mode, Lens Blur or Portrait Mode photo you'd like to use. Tap Share or Post. Your 3D photo is now on Facebook! 3D Photo Posting Notes For the best perspective-shifting photos, take a look at how your photo subject contrasts with the background. Colors shouldn't blend too much and a plain background works best. There are a few restrictions when sharing 3D photos. When posting a 3D photo to Facebook, note that 3D photos can't be edited, and Facebook may not be able to convert edited photos to 3D. You can only share one 3D photo at a time, and you can't add 3D photos to an album. If you're having issues posting a 3D photo to Facebook, check out Facebook's 3D photo troubleshooting tips.
