When you have an entire thread or conversation of emails that's worth sharing, don't forward those messages one by one. In Gmail, you can forward an entire conversation in one email message. If the thread forms a conversation, as determined by Gmail criteria, you can forward it in one compact message. The quoted text is removed automatically. Enable Conversation View When Conversation View is enabled, Gmail groups all emails with the same subject line (Gmail ignores prefixes such as Re: and Fwd:) into one conversation. Gmail limits conversations to 100 emails. When a conversation reaches that limit, Gmail starts a new conversation. Conversation View is enabled by default on newer Gmail accounts. Use these steps to ensure that it is enabled. To enable conversation view in Gmail: In the Gmail inbox screen, select the gear icon. Choose Settings. In the General tab, scroll to the Conversation View section. Select Conversation view on. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Save Changes. If you set Conversation view off, each email appears in your inbox by itself in reverse chronological order. Forward a Complete Thread or Conversation of Emails in Gmail To forward an entire conversation in one message with Gmail: Go to your inbox and choose the conversation. Go to the toolbar and select More. Choose Forward all. Gmail displays the contents of the new email at the bottom of the conversation. Add any comments to the email and address the message. Select Send to send the conversation along with your comments. You can also forward multiple messages from one conversation or many as attachments in Gmail.
