It's easy to read your mail in IncrediMail itself, and you can control the settings, spam filter, blocked senders, contacts and drafts from there, too. No, you don't have to access your IncrediMail data folder on disk directly for that. You can even back up and restore or move all your IncrediMail data from the friendly program itself.

Why Would You Want to Look Inside IncrediMail?

So why would anybody want to locate and open the place on their disk where IncrediMail keeps all the files and hides all the details? Isn't it dangerous?

If you take care not to delete or touch any file without making a backup copy of it first (just create a copy of the file in the same directory and add ".orig" to its name) messing with your IncrediMail data directly will do no harm. And it can be useful for removing addresses from the IncrediMail auto-complete list, for example; or to clean up your IncrediMail letters; or to back up certain aspects manually; or to apply a fix if something inside IncrediMail breaks.
