This article explains how to use Netflix codes with the official Netflix website address in your web browser to view movies and series in specific genres.

How to Use Netflix Codes

To use Netflix codes, you’ll need to use a web browser on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. These codes do not work on set-top boxes like the Apple TV. Then follow these steps:

1. Open your preferred web browser app on your device.

2. Enter www.netflix.com/browse/genre/ into the address bar.

   To save time, highlight the above address, press Ctrl + C to copy it to your clipboard, select the address bar in your browser, and press Ctrl + V to paste it. You can also copy and paste text on a touch device by doing a long-press.

3. Type or paste the Netflix code you want to use after the address. It should look something like www.netflix.com/browse/genre/10118. 

   Make sure there are no spaces between the address and the code. The Netflix code needs to be a part of the web address.

4. Press Enter to visit the website. You should now see a page on the Netflix website dedicated to an entire genre.

5. By default, the Netflix code page will show a video preview of a featured film or series at the top and a variety of sub-genres within the main genre below. Any films in this genre that you have in your Netflix List will be displayed at the top while personalized recommendations will be shown along the bottom row.

6. Select the grid icon under your user profile to access options to view all of the films and shows in the specific genre by year of release or alphabetically.

7. Tap the + icon to add content to your List to watch later. Your List will sync to all of your devices that use the same Netflix account. Alternatively, you can play a movie or series on your device and watch it straight away.

   You can cast Netflix shows to your TV from your device’s web browser by using Chromecast. Android smartphones and iPhones can stream Netflix to TVs while you can also connect your Window laptop to your TV via HDMI or project the content wirelessly. Macs also support streaming content to a TV.

Are There Netflix Codes for Disney Content?

While the vast majority of Disney shows and films have been moved from Netflix to Disney’s own streaming service, Disney Plus, there is still a small selection of content for kids on Netflix which can be viewed by using the Netflix code 67673. 

Do Netflix Codes for Free Access Exist?

The type of Netflix codes covered on this page are for viewing content only available to users with an active Netflix subscription. Codes that can be redeemed for a free month or two of Netflix access are usually found in gift cards. These can be bought in online retailers and physical stores.
