On Bumble, you can easily disable your account temporarily or permanently delete the app if you're confident you're done using it. Here's how to deactivate Bumble, one way or another. Temporarily Disabling vs. Permanently Deleting Your Bumble Account Bumble's temporary disabling feature is called snooze mode, which essentially allows you to take your account offline without losing any of your profile information or connections. Your profile will be hidden, you won't appear in any swipe matches and your current matches and notifications will be notified that you're taking a break so they know you're not just ignoring them. Permanently deleting your Bumble account involves the removal of all your data—including profile information, photos, connections and everything else. If you decide to permanently delete your account, you'll have to start all over from scratch by creating a brand new account. The following instructions can be followed using the Bumble app for both iOS and Android. Screenshots are provided for the iOS version only. How to Temporarily Disable Your Bumble Account Here's how you can take advantage of Bumble's Snooze feature to take a break without losing anything already on your account. Open the Bumble app and tap the Profile icon in the top left corner to reach your profile. Tap the gear icon in the top left corner of your profile tab to access your settings. Tap Snooze mode. Choose to snooze your account for: 24 hours;72 hours;a week; orIndefinitely. If you select a short-term period for snooze mode, choose a reason to help notify your current connections why you're taking a break. You can choose: I'm traveling;I'm focused on work;I'm on a digital detox;I'm prioritizing myself; orNo thanks, if none of the above reasons fit. You have the option to go back online any time you want. Just tap Deactivate snooze mode. Bumble's Date Mode If you want to stay active on Bumble, but aren't looking to date anyone at the moment, you can simply remove Date mode so you can continue to use Bizz and BFF. From the Bizz or BFF tab, tap the logo at the top, then swipe through the modes until you see Bumbledate. Tap the X in the top left corner to remove it. Any connections you made in Date mode will be deleted, but you can always re-enable Date mode from your settings. How to Permanently Delete Your Bumble Account If you found someone you're ready to commit to, didn't like your experience with Bumble, or have any other reason for wanting to leave the platform, you can delete your account so all your data is permanently removed. Deleting your Bumble account is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you're deleting your current account to start fresh with a new account, it might affect who you see on the app. Open the Bumble app and tap the Profile icon in the top left corner to reach your profile. Tap the gear icon in the top left to open Bumble's settings Tap Delete account at the bottom of your settings tab. Choose a reason for why you're deleting your Bumble account: Found/In a Relationship;Billing Issue;Dissatisfied with Service; orOther. Tap Delete account to confirm.
