You can control your home's thermostat from your phone, monitor the outdoor temperature, and set your thermostat when you're away so you can save on energy. If you have a Wi-Fi enabled Honeywell thermostat, there are a few benefits to getting it connected so you can control it with your smartphone: Set Alerts: Having your smart thermostat connected to your Wi-Fi lets you set alerts if a room in your home gets too cold or too warm or if the humidity changes too much. You can have the alerts sent via text or email; then you can adjust the temperature no matter where you are. Use Multiple Thermostats: If you have a thermostat in each room, you can monitor the temperatures and humidity in each room, not just the house. Plus, you can check the outdoor temperature. Voice Control: Honeywell Wi-Fi smart thermostats have a voice-activated control. Just say "Hello Thermostat" to your phone and choose a preprogrammed voice command. Was this page helpful?
