For example, the iPhone's alarm clock has notification features far more advanced than the venerable old bedside alarm clock or clock radio. Hitting the snooze button when your iPhone alarm goes off gives you a set nine minutes before the alarm rings again. If you'd prefer a shorter or longer snooze interval, while there's no way to reset the nine-minute snooze time, there are several workarounds to help you create a custom snooze period. With a nine-minute snooze, Apple pays homage to old-fashioned alarm clocks, whose gears made it impossible to set a 10-minute snooze. Since more than 10 minutes lets people fall back into a deep sleep, nine minutes became standard. Set Multiple Alarms to Create Your Own Snooze Time It's easy to schedule different alarms to go off at your desired snooze interval time. To do this, you'll first need to disable the snooze setting on your current alarm. In this example, we'll set our snooze interval to 5 minutes. Open the Clock app, tap Alarm at the bottom, and then tap the + in the top right to create a new alarm. Set your preferred wake-up time, for example, 7 a.m. Disable the Snooze setting, then tap Save. Tap the + again and create a new alarm for 7:05 a.m. Disable the Snooze setting and tap Save. Add any additional alarms at whatever intervals you prefer. Third-Party Alarm Clocks Third-party iPhone alarm clock apps offer customizable snooze alarms, allowing you to bypass Apple's alarm clock entirely. Here's a look at how to change the snooze time in some popular third-party alarm clock apps.
