How to Manage Microsoft Edge Autofill Settings

Enable, disable, and customize autofill on the Edge browser

You can set up Microsoft Edge autofill settings the way you want to enter your name, address, and other information in forms online. With this data, Edge autofills forms quickly and easily.

Microsoft Edge is only available for Windows 10. Other versions of Windows come with Internet Explorer and support third-party browsers like Google Chrome.

How to Manage Microsoft Edge Autofill Settings

Access the web browser's autofill settings to add, delete, or change saved address information.

  1. Open Edge and select the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the browser window.

  2. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select Profiles in the left pane of the Settings window.

  4. Select Addresses and more in the Profile section.

  5. Select the Save and fill addresses toggle to enable it, then select Add address.

  6. Enter the address you want to use to autofill forms and select Save.

  7. To delete or change previously saved information, select the three-dot menu to the right of a saved address. Select Edit to change the information, or choose Delete to remove it completely.

How to Manage Payment Information in Microsoft Edge Settings

Microsoft Edge asks if you want to save your payment information when you use a card to make a payment or purchase online. Once card numbers are stored in the browser, Edge autofills the information as needed.

To manage your saved payment information:

  1. Open Edge and select the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the browser window.

  3. Select Profiles in the left pane of the Settings window, then click Payment info.

  5. Select Add card.

  6. Enter the card information you want to use to autofill forms, then select Save.

How to Manage Autofill Settings in the Legacy Version of Microsoft Edge

AutoComplete in Microsoft Edge Legacy completes your name, address, and other info in web forms once you enable it.

  1. Open Microsoft Edge Legacy, select the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the browser window, then choose Settings.

  2. Select Passwords & autofill, then select the Save form data toggle to turn it on.

  3. Select Manage forms to change any of your information for AutoComplete.
