There are tons of official and unofficial Fitbit band options that go great with different types of attire. These instructions apply to the Fitbit Charge 2, as well as Charge 2 HR and Charge 3. The steps for changing the band on a Fitbit Versa are a little different. How to Change a Fitbit Charge 2 Band Follow these steps to switch out the band on your Fitbit Charge 2: Look inside your Fitbit Charge band and locate the two quick release clips connected to either side of the Fitbit watch face. Fitbit While holding the Fitbit watch face in one hand, press the outside edge of the release clip (shown in red) with the thumb of your other hand. Then, pull the watch face towards you to release the watch face from the clip. Repeat this process for the other side of the band. Fitbit Don't apply too much force when changing your band. If the clip feels stuck, gently move the band around to release it. To attach the band, you'll basically reverse the above steps. To start, check the position of the watch face to your wrist and make sure you're attaching the straps to the correct sides of the watch face. Hold the watch face in one hand with the inside facing you. Take one side of the band in your other hand and attach it by pressing the watch face away from you into the quick release clip. You don't need to press the clip this time; just snap it in. Repeat this process on the other side of the band. Fitbit Charge 2 Band Types The Charge 2 is compatible with a wide range of wristbands styles and materials, including: Silicone bands: Available in a rainbow of colors, silicone bands are lightweight and easy to wear for all activities, including going to the gym, exercising outdoors, and for casual events.Leather bands: While probably not the best choice for exercising, leather bands can instantly transform your Fitbit activity tracker into a classic, modern looking watch.Metal mesh bands: A good alternative to leather, stainless steel mesh wristbands are sleek and stylish, and they go great with both business and casual attire.Fitbit original replacement bands: If you prefer a Fitbit original band, Fitbit has a few different styles for the Charge series, including the waterproof Classic and Sports bands. You don't need to buy a replacement band from Fitbit. Instead, you can choose from a wide range of replacement bands on sites like Amazon or eBay. Just make sure it is specifically compatible with the Charge 2. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
