Do I Qualify for a Groupon Refund? The Groupon refund policy is something you always have to keep in mind when attempting to get a refund for your Groupon. All Groupons fall under four different categories and each of these categories has a different policy: Local Deals: Can be returned for a refund within 3 days of the purchaseGroupon Getaways: Refunds are available until the "book-by" dateGroupon Goods: Can be returned for a refund within 30 days of the delivery dateGroupon Live: Cannot be refunded past the day of purchase, unless the event is canceled or rescheduled Final Sales cannot be canceled or returned. Also, if you've viewed your voucher, you're unable to cancel the order. How to Cancel a Groupon Once you identify which category your Groupon falls under and determine whether you qualify for a cancellation, you may proceed to process the cancellation and obtain a refund. Use these steps to cancel your Groupons in any of the categories listed above with the exception of the Groupon Goods. For Groupon Goods, you must return it instead. Open your preferred browser and go to Groupon. Select Sign In. Enter your credentials and select Sign In. Once you are logged in to your account, select My Stuff > My Groupons. Select View Details. Don't select View Voucher or you won't be able to cancel your Groupon. Select Edit Order on the left side of the page. Select Cancel Order on the left side of the screen. If you're in the cancellation window and don't see the option to self-cancel, contact the customer support team. Select I would like to cancel my purchase, then select Cancel Order. If you decide to cancel your order before it ships, the process is about the same. However, if your order has already shipped, the steps change a little bit. Follow steps 1-5 from the cancellation process above. Select Return Package. Print your prepaid labeled. Attach the label to the package and return it to Groupon. Returns don't qualify for a refund if they're missing the Groupon Label. After the refund is processed, you receive an email from Groupon with a subject titled "Your Refund Has Been Processed." It can take up to 10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. How to Trade In your Groupon? If you miss the time allowed to process your cancellation, you can trade in your voucher. Contact Groupon support to have the Trade In Voucher option enabled. Select My Stuff > My Groupons and then select Trade In Voucher. Click Confirm to finalize the trade-in.
